Edward’s Cup

For the first time since 2019, we were able to meet to play the preliminary rounds of the Edwards Cup. The 32 entrants were allocated partners by draw at the start of the day. The pairs of players were then split into four groups and each pair played the other three pairs in their group. After the hard fought Round Robin stage the winning pairs from each group proceeded to play the semi- finals.

Bob and Frank were beaten by Harry and Chris in the first semi final while Sylvia and Ken defeated Cathie and John in the other. Congratulations to the winners of the two semi finals who will now play each other on Finals Day for the cup.
