Chairman’s & Secretary’s Day

The first of our annual Festival day’s is the Chairman & Secretary Challenge for the “sought after? “ Black Hand Trophy.

In the week preceeding the challenge, Trevor (chairman) and Sylvia (secretary) carefully selected teams that looked very well matched on paper. However, on the day, while Sylvia’s team played very well and enjoyed much of the good luck; Trevor’s team struggled a little. By the end of the afternoon, the Secretary’s team were clear winner’s and Derek (President) presented the trophy to Sylvia as captain of the victorious team.

The afternoon was completed with a fantastic buffet prepared by Sue and a team of club members a raffle.
