Edwards Cup

The preliminary rounds of the Edwards Cup were played on Saturday 17 June.

With doubles teams drawn at random on the day and after a number of very close matches, and one or two that were not so close, the 17 teams were reduced to just 4 teams for the semi finals.

Brian Darlington & Rob Jones beat David Haswell & Hugh Gallagher

Thanks to everyone for a great afternoon of competitive bowling all played with good humour and congratulations to the winners of the two semi finals who will meet in the final which will be played on Finals Day, 23 September.

Thanks go to Bob Cassidy who organised the bowling schedule and helped Rob keep everything on schedule.
Thanks also go to all those who organised the registration, provided raffle prizes, helped with the catering or helped with teh post event clear up etc.
