Charity Day
Despite some very mixed weather during the preceeding week, our final day of bowling in 2023 was blessed with fine weather.
Apart from a final chance to bowl before the winter, we were raising funds for our President’s Charity - The Alzheimer’s Society The bowling was followed by a Bring & Share supper when we were joined by a representative of the charity who received a cheque for £1350 from Derek.
A further £15 was collected in the donation box that had sat in the clubhouse throughout the season.
